Nexus 18-1000pa

The Nexus is a robust 18" 1000 watt speaker suitable for kick bass applications that require additional low frequency output down to 45Hz in compact enclosures.

The dual spider ensures a tight suspension to keep the cone linear and prevent over excursion at high levels of output, while not a true subwoofer the 18-1000 is more then able to deliver strong impactful lows to meet most bass requirements.

Suggested enclosure volume

Optimal enclosure size range 200 to 300 liters in a bass reflex enclosure or hybrid vented horn loaded enclosure tuned to 45Hz.

While the Nexus 18-1000 is optimized for kick bass we have provided an example of an extended low frequency enclosure for a dual 18" bass reflex enclosure 400 liters tuned to 41Hz, we do not recommend tuning lower or going larger as the driver will not function correctly for optimum output.

We recommend a 2nd order high pass set to 45hz which protects the driver from over excursion and allows for 1200 watts of power handling and safe long term operation
